The Artist
Claire Chao is a fine art photographer based in Taiwan. Her artistic journey is defined by a profound shift: transitioning from a 14-year career as a Senior Vice President at HSBC to the stillness of photography in 2013. This unique background imbues her work with a distinctive balance between rational structure and emotional flow.

The Craft & The Studio
Her photography oscillates between order and ambiguity, seen in series like In Between and Fluid Time. Driven by an uncompromising pursuit of quality, Claire established Metal Print Studio (瑋思影像) in 2018. As a Master Printer, she applies her artistic eye to the craft, overseeing every step from capture to the final archival metal print—like the floral works pictured here.

Current Project
Claire is currently working on “Fleeting Life: A Dream”, a series exploring mental landscapes.

關於藝術家
趙湘瑋，台灣影像藝術家。從任職 HSBC 資深副總裁的金融理性中轉身，於 2013 年投入攝影藝術的感性探索。這種生命經驗的轉換，讓她的作品總是在「幾何秩序」與「時間流動」之間尋求完美的平衡。

從藝術家到職人：瑋思影像
在 In Between 與 Fluid Time 等系列中，她展現了對結構與光影的獨到見解。為了追求影像在最終呈現上的極致，她於 2016 年創立 瑋思影像 (Metal Print Studio)。她以藝術家的嚴謹眼光監製每一幅作品，從色彩校正到媒材選擇，堅持「博物館級」的收藏品質。照片中背景的花卉作品，正是她引以為傲的金屬影像工藝成果。

近期創作計畫
目前專注於《浮生若夢 (Fleeting Life, A Dream)》系列創作，探索心靈地景。
